Travel mercies, Jem. You will be fine.

#158...What are we talking about? At this point in my travel prep, I am talking only gibberish. But I MEANT to say that I have a tendency to make "helpful" remarks to people who enforce silly, pedantic rules. It often lands me in trouble.

#165...I am still lost dearie.
Moi is the LAST person to make pedantic rules......
..or any rules, for that matter.
My husband is the rule maker.....
..I just run around the house yelling....New rules!!...Oh no, new rules!!!!
Then, I ignore them :>)

Was feeding my pups ... *sparkles* ... who
may have been made sick by the Weeping Willow, according to vet ... I guess I just have to wait and see if he has another seizure ... so far his Mr. Happy Pants 'tude prevails ... takes 5 cups twice a day ... Old Soul ... who takes his sweet time eating ... thus driving *sparkles* to near distraction ... take 7 cups, twice daily .... BWAK!
...cherry pit spitting time... ...
*grins* Actually ... I went one step further and made ... wait for it ...
HOMEMADE cream of tomato soup!!!!
Indeed ... 'maters from me own garden ... I tanked the garnish detailed in the recipe which sounded liked a festering wound ... and added my wishful inspirations ... and it turned out ... get this ... beyond ambrosia!!!
My daughter tries to be a vegetarian and, like Miss Marple, I patiently listen ... one taste, and she called all of her friends over for a try.
I was stunned ... for all the ingredients seemed to have exchanged handshakes and whispered, amongst themselves ... basil to parsley ... "What say you we give ol' illstillbe a break, here ... make her look like she knows how to cook?"
LOL!
Served it with .... again .... wait for it ....
Homemade
garlic
bread
ALL of it ... homemade ... even the bread
Well ... the bread ... it was a wee bit flat ... but good, nonetheless which should not be one word ...
My M-i-l, Tilly ... could make bread that brought you to your knees ... trouble is, she only knew how to make 8 loaves at a time ... such was the size of her family ... she never could figure out how to tell us all how to make only one loaf ... lasting things ...
Jemian ... what courage and faith ... leaving LD here ... filled to burstin' with the best of you and your husband ... and Him ... as you travel, certainly further than the next block ... your voice echoes even in my ear ... your heart resounds in mine ... though I have never even met you ... imagine ... imagine ... how well and true you live in your daughter's heart ... she's never going to be any further away than a mental thwump ... or *hug* ... truly ....
To: Jemian
Hope that Jemian's Trip, Take Two is a keeper .... ready to print.
I'll be praying for patience for you (no more patient stuff) ..... as well as peace and a safe journey.

Aren't you in far, far, North-East Texas? grin! We'll be staying on Texas soil when we open our B&B. I'm expecting that we'll find a giant old farm-house when the time is right. There's no telling exactly where we'll be led.
I do like the idea of a 1750's settler's garden. We will have a garden for the kitchen. I want good control over my produce and herbs. I expect I'll need to hire someone to tend it. ;>)

Sheesh! He has to work like I do when I'm on vacation. His wife must have read the same books as Trill. ;>)

Cream of tomato soup. Yum. It sounds great.
I'm going out to pull weeds. Always a good distraction. Back later.

Hi Honey,
The tile is more than half gone. Did I mention we are getting new base-boards?
Trill
To: Snowtrill
Yes, you did. It does make a mess of them to pull up the tile doesn't it. Do you know how to remove the base-boards without damaging your newly fixed wall?
/john
To: JRandomFreeper
That is why I am doing this this weekend, because I will be painting next weekend. So I can at least not worry about messing up the paint.

No anxiety attack yet. She's good at what she does. I did have an ironing attack though. I just couldn't sit here, so I'm ironing all of my uniforms. I'll leave the socks and unmentionables to iron until tomorrow.
