AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 566) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | August 9, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 08/09/2002 4:00:05 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good Morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Another key witness, a friend of Martha Stewart, is cooperating with investigators. Mariana Pasternak, a real estate broker from Westport, CT, was on the plane with Martha Stewart when she sold 4,000 shares of ImClone stock.

WorldCom finds that billions of dollars more have turned up as missing.

Iraqi President Saddam Hussein expressed hope that Britain would not join the United States in attacking his country.

And Tipper Gore, according to Fox News, tried to get free tickets for her, her husband, and the entire Gore staff, but were rebuffed. They were told they would have to pay face value for tickets - $77. Tipper passed.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

He is over with Neets this weekend.

I noticed they were sharing an account. That's pretty serious from my perspective. LOL!

Saw your question on the Colonel's column yesterday but the ISP went dead and ended my session rather rudely. IF I can figure how and where to put it perhaps I might restart. Are there new posting guidelines here or have I overlooked them?

So Tipper proves what mother said long ago: "Thems that has, keeps!" Were I as moneyed as the Goreskis I would be ashamed to ask for a freebie.

MM, thanks for the heads-up on X42's lie. Guess they believe the American people are gullible enough not to be able to add 2+2 or something. News flash to X42, only your voters, Slick, only your voters...

Coffins, eh? Ooh, we're so scared. Yo, Sod, all your boys got were holes in the sand, shall we mention that to them? Bump up the desertion rate a bit? And keep cutting the ears off your returning deserters, it makes them easy to identify. Perhaps we should give them a stipend [and a free hearing aid] for being smart enough to split? Probably a bad idea to advertise that or the Iraqi landfills will be overrun with self-severed ears..."OK, lady, I KNOW you couldn't have deserted CAUSE YOU WEREN'T IN THE ARMY!" [Sorry]

Chairman, your linked story about the morons suing schools was a jawdropper in showing the stupidity of the parents who cannot see the forest for the trees. There must be a way devised to counter these actions. Countersuits brought under the bequest of the late common sense? Or just hang all the lawyers, a la Shakespeare?

lysander, thanks for the drunken liberal link. What a rip, and makes many good points against the leftist hoplophobes!

If they don't, it won't be our fault.

Have any of you guys seen this latest Euro whine? The premise is fiction that Europe could take back the net! It was invented by US! (The Tree may have invented it, but he is still ours. To our shame) Many other falacious statements are in it as well.

I believe there is a way to use the lawyers to our own effect - hey, they are after the same thing as all the capitalists in the end: money.

Why can't we start a class action lawsuit against any school that caves to these num nuts arguing my child was deprived of his or her chance at Harvard, Yale, Princeton, or (insert school name of choice) because of the substandard education he or she received at North Central Mediocre High.

The fact is, school administrators when faced with lawsuits have a choice - fight or surrender. If they see suits only from one side, they will surrender, as it is easier. If then sued by the other side, they will have no choice but to fight one side of the issue or the other, and then the standard will become clear for all to see.

Which may explain why the House, and not the Senate, is investigating the matter.

Suspect it will come before the Senate Ethics Committee? It should, but don't hold your breath.

What's really a riot today is the President of Turkmenistan. He wants to rename all of the months of the calendar, and all of the days of the week.

The days of the week would be called: Bash Gun (Main Day), Yash Gun (Young Day), Hosh Gun (Good Day), Sogap Gun (Blessed Day), Anna (Friday), Rukh Gun (Spiritual Day) and Dynch Gun (Rest Day).

January would be renamed Turkmenbashi, in honor of the President.

April would be renamed "Mother" in honor or the President's mother, although "Gurbansoltan" is being considered (it was her name).

Other months would be called: "The Flag," "Independence" and "Rukhnama," with the remaining periods named after National heroes.

*************************************************

I didn't think it was possible, but there is actually someone more narcisstic than UOx42 living in the world today.

Yo, Dog, how ya been keeping? Missed the article but will find it later, thanks! Figures how no democrats EVER give any of that ill-gotten booty back! Done with the home improvement for the time being? Chairman, damn good idea. It's about time we start punching those morons into the ground just on GP!

All, this article Hillary Volunteers 9-11 Heroes to Clear Bush's Brush is irritating on the surface but the comment afterward made me snicker a bit too loud: "I can just hear the cattle asking each other what that smell is, when she arrives" HAR!

I've read Naipaul, he is an excellent author. I've read "Half a Life" (autobiographically fiction, very interesting blend), and "Among the Believers" which is about Islam. I highly recommend his works.

Maybe this is not such a bad thing. We upset the Chinese, they cut us off from the French. Have to weigh the positives in this you know.

Wow, no [bleep] on the narcissistic fool, but to have every day a gun day [except for payday] might aggravate those hoplophobics into a foaming fit, which would be a neat thing...
