Twelve Angry Men is phony, too, now that I know what jurors cannot do. Remember when Fonda goes out and does his own research by buying a knife? A cannot do. Also, all 12 speculate about how the murder probably happened? A cannot do.

You know, I think those are all things which jurors are supposeded not to do are which they are instructed not to do, but...

I think responsible jurors can actually break many of those "rules", so long as they are legitimately in the process of getting at the truth. Instructions notwithstanding.

I would.

In that case, you would be breaking the law/court rules. It's in the instructions/charges to the jury. Besides, you would have to get the cooperation of the other jurors and I don't think they would go along with you (on breaking the law/judges charges to the jury.)
