FWIW.......When people behave as if framing or planting is so far from the realm of possibility, I cringe. While I believe that this is not at all a common occurrence, it can and has happened.

Imagine how large a department such as SDPD is and the many employees of the district attorney's office. Surely no one thinks that 100% of these folks are saintly. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to find a handful or more that are involved in swinging and other shameful acts in their private lives.

If one important person was very worried about exposure, that's all it would take. Some people act like corruption stops at the police department or DA's door and any consideration of hanky panky is just wrong. Puhleeeeeeze !!!

The fact that the blood drop on the jacket was never properly photographed and that the forensic specialists were instructed to not use 35mm is about as suspicious an act as I can fathom.

Yes, it is. Add to that the fact that they decided (who decided? It was never said) not to fingerprint the offensive cd and zip disk cases. Why would that be? And what about the other fingerprints that were never id'ed? Never even tried. What about the fiber tests? Why not do the important ones that would have said "match" or "not match" instead of "similar"? Lots of questions about LE on this case, not limited to the actual evidence. The behavior of Otts and Keyser, the "leaks" of false information to the media--phewwwwww, something smells kinda rotten in SD.

At one time, I would have thought, "police planting evidence, yeah, right", but after following this trial, I have changed my mind and think it is entirely possible.

In this case, several witnesses testified under oath that their statements had not been recorded correctly by LE. LE embellished BVD's statement that pointed to DW in order to get a warrant, and then there's Diane Halfman's involvement from the beginning. Kinda makes me go hmmmmmmmmmm.
