Yes, that's reasonable doubt! Only one little tiny bit of blood evidence. And if she was murdered by him, and given the condition of the body (teeth missing), there would have to be lots of blood. And he took some bedding to be cleaned, but it wasn't totally trashed out, or else we would have known it. (Was anything of his, hairs, etc. found at the body scene??) Of course he could have burned sheets, towels, etc., but that much blood would have shown up if they had used luminal on his motor home. No, I'm leaning against convicting him. Reasonable doubt.

This is rank speculation on my part,and based on nothing but looking at a few pictures of Westerfield and VanDam. Take it for what it's worth,which is very little.
If I was broken down in the middle of nowhere and Westerfield pulled up and offered me a ride,I'd probably hop in. If VanDam made the same offer,I believe I'd decline the favor.
