it was impossible to find out the truth from tv
we had Brit Hume's show and Brit is a gem
his son went to Heaven 3rd day after monica scandal broke
he was devastated
fortunately the topic was sex till Starr Report was released
Brit has earthy sense of humor and had fun
Brit's conservative panelist (Fred Barnes)
never understood Impeachment
no one on the news shows did
they just thought it ws typical republican/democrat war
but if you were willing to watch all the news shows 24/7, plus c-span
usually at end of each day there was one salient fact revealed, even tho it was buried
you had to close your eyes and find the one salent fact, and then come up with interpretation of what it meant
I bet for those on FR they had easy time, cause they had each other
plus they had access to news sources I didn't know about
they had the internet

Thanks for your last post. I never knew when Brit Hume's son died. It was all a very frustrating time back then, I didn't even know who Brit was until we got Fox when we moved here three years ago.
We passed by Fred Barnes in front of the Washington Press Building when we were downtown during a rainstorm this summer. :)
Goodnight, Sweetie.

The internet is salvation....when you need to find something out, or find like minded folks, the internet in general is where you need to go to find things out....
I cant believe how many things I have found out on the internet....its truly mindblowing...
When Andy first went away to college, in 1992, he was talking about how he and his galpal Allison could communicate via computers....now this was 10yrs ago, and it was crude compared to today...
But everyday, Andy, who was going to school in NY, could communicate with his girlfriend Allison, who was going to school in Cal....via computer, and in near real time, almost like being on the phone...
I could just not fathom what he was talking about, it was so unreal, and fantastic to me...yet here I am, years later, on the internet...
Aint progress grand?
