Egyptian Temple Wall Panel on which the images are raised

Is this an Ancient Helicopter?

Is this an Ancient Aircraft?

Another Ancient Aircraft?

A small model of what has been called a "glider" plane was found in a museum in Cairo. Its body was just over 6" long and its wingspan was a little over 7". Made of light sycamore wood, it would glide a short distance when thrown by hand. Other models of aircraft have been found in Egypt and South America. One of them bears a striking resemblance to a modern delta-winged jet!

Sanskrit texts are filled with references to gods who fought battles in the sky using Vimanas equipped with weapons as deadly as any we can deploy in these more enlightened times. For example, there is a passage in the Ramayana which reads:

"The Puspaka car that resembles the Sun and belongs to my brother was brought by the powerful Ravan; that aerial and excellent car going everywhere at will .... that car resembling a bright cloud in the sky."

".. and the King [Rama] got in, and the excellent car at the command of the Raghira, rose up into the higher atmosphere."

In the Mahabharatra, an ancient Indian poem of enormous length, we learn that an individual named Asura Maya had a Vimana measuring twelve cubits in circumference, with four strong wheels. The poem is a veritable gold mine of information relating to conflicts between gods who settled their differences apparently using weapons as lethal as the ones we are capable of deploying. Apart from 'blazing missiles', the poem records the use of other deadly weapons. 'Indra's Dart' operated via a circular 'reflector'. When switched on, it produced a 'shaft of light' which, when focused on any target, immediately 'consumed it with its power'. In one particular exchange, the hero, Krishna, is pursuing his enemy, Salva, in the sky, when Salva's Vimana, the Saubha is made invisible in some way. Undeterred, Krishna immediately fires off a special weapon: 'I quickly laid on an arrow, which killed by seeking out sound'. Many other terrible weapons are described, quite matter of factly, in the Mahabharata, but the most fearsome of all is the one used against the Vrishis. The narrative records:

"Gurkha flying in his swift and powerful Vimana hurled against the three cities of the Vrishis and Andhakas a single projectile charged with all the power of the Universe. An incandescent column of smoke and fire, as brilliant as ten thousands suns, rose in all its splendour. It was the unknown weapon, the Iron Thunderbolt, a gigantic messaenger of death which reduced to ashes the entire race of the Vrishnis and Andhakas."

It is important to note, that these kinds of records are not isolated. They can be cross-correlated with similiar reports in other ancient civilizations. The after-affects of this Iron Thunderbolt have an ominously recognizable ring. Apparently, those killed by it were so burnt that their corpses were unidentifiable. The survivors fared little etter, as it caused their hair and nails to fall out.

Perhaps the most disturbing and challenging, information about these allegedly mythical Vimanas in the ancient records is that there are some matter-of-fact records, describing how to build one. In their way, the instructions are quite precise.

In the Sanskrit Samarangana Sutradhara, it is written:

"Strong and durable must the body of the Vimana be made, like a great flying bird of light material. Inside one must put the mercury engine with its iron heating apparatus underneath. By means of the power latent in the mecrcury which sets the driving whirlwind in motion, a man sitting inside may travel a great distance in the sky. The movements of the Vimana are such that it can vertically ascend, vertically descend, move slanting forwards and backwards. With the help of the machines human beings can fly in the air and heavenly beings can come down to earth."

The Hakatha (Laws of the Babylonians) states quite unambiguously: "The privilege of operating a flying machine is great. The knowledge of flight is among the most ancient of our inheritances. A gift from 'those from upon high'. We received it from them as a means of saving many lives."

Amazingly, the huge, black triangles seen by many floating in the night sky have been identified even though not acknowledged. They are being called BBDs, or Big, Black Deltas. They are lighter-than-air military craft powered by an extremely quiet motor system.

Or is that the Mir fungus that caused some strange sea-growth in New Zealand?

The sea creature -- described as being about 15-feet long, with four-inch teeth, greenish-black skin and a white belly -- was swimming around Carney and popping its head out of the water to expose its teeth and hiss in a manner that could not soon be forgotten, Carney said.

Hi BullDog
those are the two I read
the first one was more interesting, because he was such a ''bad'' boy before his NDE
the 2nd one had his experiences of reading peoples' minds, this was interesting too
he said his friends took him to the mall, he waited outside
he said everyone who emerged from mall was unhappy
they all thought ''I'm too old, I'm too fat, I spent too much money''
I hope you enjoy reading them, I find him completely sincere
Love, Palo

Thanks for the ping. Unfortunately, I've been out of town until today, with no time for the net.

I really enjoy reading about all this kind of stuff.

How fast can they go?

Not very fast. A bicycle could keep up.

"Not very fast. A bicycle could keep up."

Doesn't that make them vulnerable? What is their actual mission? It seems a little odd to me. '

Assuming they are dirigibles, they are also relatively cheap and expendable. Balloons don't survive well in war.

I am always amazed at the responses to anything like this......how arrogant we are to think everything begins and ends with this current few thousand years.......

I agree, some of these responses are very child like and bizarre. Maybe it's a way for some to get over their confusion and paranoia of the possibility that there is much more to the universe than just this small planet.

I dont know why people get all funny about the possibility of other people and cultures existing.

I say, people are FOOLS, for putting down this idea, and show how narrow they are. And how frightened they are. What would happen if some ships showed up? The masses would go nuts, becoming entirely dangerous, to themselves and others.

I myself have seen some weird things in the skies at night, including my parents, friends, family, many times as a group. The men being experienced pilots, or other military persons, insist, "we dont have anything like that". A moot point.

Civilizations, go down, die off, wars, etc. Well, if it was ever let out, any evidence that was found, (and I know many books, publish what has been found), it shakes the predisposed knowledge, and concepts of modern man, esp established religions. Like one post said, they got the same god we do. Perhaps they were the reason we have our religions- if I was a primitive man, I would consider these people with flying machines, gods too.

there are many passages in the bible, which point to that, ie: Ezekel going up in a wheel.

My point exactly! I do not know if there are intelligent civilizations out there, however based on mathematical probability the possibility of such a civilization (or civilizations) existing is very high. If you factor in just our Galaxy (the Milky Way) alone and discount the rest of the universe some scientists say up to 10,000 civilizations could be supported.

And yes, i have seen passages in the bible (eg Ezekiel's 'spinning wheels') as well as the references in Genesis about the Nephilim (who people used to say meant 'giants' but in the original translations it means 'descended from above').

I have also read the Mahabarat (at least a good part of it) as well as part of the Ramayana and there are references to 'Vimana' which are huge flying disks.

And i found it funny that when Alexander the Great was nearing India he saw huge flying disks that looked like the Vimana referred to in the Hindu holy books.

There are also the Nazca Lines in South America, which are like the recent crop circles .....but the thing that makes these not hoaxes is the fact that the lines are many miles long, they make some shapes that are complex, are made with very small stones which seem to 'materialize' when seen from afar (high up), and can only be seen by flying over in a plane (around a mile high). And they were made centuries ago! How were they made? I do not know ....it could be that their creator was an amazing genius who could perceive a 2-D-plane in 3-D form, including the ability to have the vision to somehow see how it would look in a plane a mile high in the sky (even though obviously planes did not exist then). Who knows?

I also find it weird that the Dagoon tribe in Africa knew about hidden stars (the twin star of Sirius ...Sirius-B) that 'visitors from the sky' had told them about them, when everyone else then in the Western world did not know they existed (in the 19th century).

I also find it weird that in 1942 the Army reserve at LA started firing at 'discs' that hovered over LA. They thought it was some sort of Axis attack, but the funny thing was that these orbs were hovering and even though they fired 1403 anti-aircraft rounds (causing friendly fire incidents as some of the ordnance landed on the ground) they did not manage to bring even one of them down! The UFOs hovered for a good time period, and were witnessed by over a million people, and then went away without doing any direct harm (4 people died of heart attacks, plus the damage caused by AA ordnance fallign down without exploding in the air above). It was in all the papers the next day ...and today the Army reports still say it happened and have the documentation to back it up (apart from the photos in the papers of the carnage that followed when the ordnance landed on houses) ..BUT the navy said it never happened! Figure that out!

And then in some paintings done in centuries past sometimes one will notice that in the corner of paintings depicting important events put on canvas there is usually a 'flying disc' drawn! Actually there was a whole program on this on the History Channel some time ago when they were showing these paintings that had UFOs in them! What could those be? It could be that in the Acension of Mary the painter decided to draw a 'discus' thrown by some athlete ...or it could be an alien craft. It depends on what someone wants to believe.

Personally i think there are some very weird stuff that happens. And UFOs can usually be explained logically ....however sometimes ...................!?????!?!?!!!!

That is why i keep an open mind.

Discus thrown by an athlete......yeah, that's it! I like your humorous imagination, spetz. I also liked reading the article again.

Isn't it odd to watch how Hollywood treats the possibility of aliens? Call out all the troops, bring in the most sophisticated weapons and shoot without thinking. Brilliant! Except that not one of the observed phenomena in real life has threatened us, taken a shot at us, or vaporized us. Go figure!

And what is even funnier is that if these things were hostile then the Earth would be in an exceedingly dire situation since any civilization advanced enough to travel several light years here in a short time span would also most probably have the technology to vanquish our planet and negate our (relatively) backward tech. Which means the whole thing of squadrons of F/A-18s rising up to meet the alien motherships is a little silly...... I really doubt they would have travelled light years to engage in aerial dogfights with jet fighters!

Chances are if they exist, and they are hostile, that they would neutralize our planet in one fell swoop, tackle all our countermeasures, and do as they will. However according to HollyWood defeating such a foe requires squads of planes to shoot them down once their forcefields go down (ala Independece Day) or just have a few glasses of water chilling around the house and throw them at their faces (ala Signs).

If they were hostile they would have attacked eons ago.....and if (as some people say) they are bidding their time then there is really nothing much we could do when they attack.

Imagine what defence Cro-Magnon man would have had if a modern army attacked with modern weapons and tactics? Nada, zip, zero, nil! Actually even the most rag tag Afghanistan army armed with two revolvers and a sling shot would most likely rule Cro-Magnon man for whole epochs!

I think the same thing would apply here. If they existed and they attacked what could we do?

And another thought. Let's say that aliens have been doing drive bys on earth in their craft, and (as some of the posts suggest) we have been firing stuff at them, what if such actions cause them to think they are under attack and they 'retaliate.'

Imagine an American Air 747 flying over (let's just say for the sake of argument) Serbia, and it gets shot down by the Serbians. And then a week later a Delta airlines plane also experiences ground fire and is turned into a flaming lawn dart! And then a couple of days later a Gulf Stream jet with an American businesswoman gets shot down.

What would we do? And might aliens act the same way we would if their stuff gets fired at?

Just wondering......

Absolutely right.

Orrrrrrr.......maybe they are waiting for us to become a bit brighter and more advanced so that we will offer more of a fair fight. Naaaah........they're too smart for that. LOL

Hey, you just gave me goosebumps... When I was a kid (about 11),I was a major astronomy and other physical science geek.
I was riding in the back of my parents' Chevet coming back from Texas A&M, and I was looking out the back window at the stars when one seemed like it was moving right to left. I have always known what satellites look like in orbit at night, but this wasn't one. It seemed to be a little bigger than Venus, but Venus was over there(to the left.) It kept moving to the left, slowly, but speeding up over the course of about 5 min. Now, visualize me laying on my back, the small light moving right to left, at arms length it moved about 8-10 inches in about 5 min. While I was looking at it it made a turn, without slowing down, 90% to the right(or up from my angle.During this entire event, the object was speeding up exponentially.)It then proceeded about 2 inches, at arms length, and made another right turn.(which put it going left to right, or East basically) It then kept speeding up, but started to hook to the right alittle, and drift away into space. At this point, I could really begin to see that it was moving fast, and it looked to be moving about the speed of a fighter jet,but it passed that and kept disappearing. It got to the point where I had to look at it from out of the corner of my peripherally vision, because I couldn't see it anymore. You know, where you look to the right or left a little to see an extremely dim object. I remember getting one last glimpse, and I couldn't see it anymore. I said something to mom and dad, but they just told me to lay back down and go to sleep. Argh. That day changed my world. I'm not lying. I don't give a damn who laughs about this, but I KNOW it wasn't any damn satellite, or a plane, or any other crazy excuse that anyone might give me. I AM a VERY God loving and God fearing person. I love The Lord, and I am not being sucked into the trappings of Satan, or anything else anyone can think of. It wasn't the work of evil forces to warp my brain and pull me away from a life with God. What crap. Anyone who spouts that insanity aught to have foil on their head. I am 100% sure of what I saw. If anything, seeing it helped me actually believe in God. Are we the center of the universe? Does the earth still revolve around the sun? No? Then why the hell does anyone still believe that there is some CRAZY explanation other than the obvious one? I'm not egocentrical enough to even begin to think that we're IT, and that God stopped there. That's nuts. A parent teaches their kids that they are #1 in their world so that they don't grow up insecure, right? It says in the Bible that we are His children, right?

Er....
