Heaven knows where he & Elizabeth are. He'd have to have money wherever they are.

He could be a person of means, but maybe a loner? Maybe someone who has watched her at church or other venues, even making an overture to her that no one (she and her family) regarded at the time as being serious? I don't think he's very old, not older than 35 or 40. Maybe younger if this is not a true abduction.

I would hope LE is (has) checked all such sources.

A "loner." Someone she sat next to at a church social after she had performed on her harp? He would be very flattered?

I hope LE has checked them out, too. Sometimes kinda hard to believe they are on top of this case.
