You are right with your concern. How blame could be placed on the innocent victims instead of the criminals is beyond my thinking!! Mistakes may have been made...but who among us have not made those same mistakes at some point in our lives.?

Thanks, and my ramblings were probably those of a nervous mother who's always second guessing herself. By the mid-teens you can't hover over them every minute of the day, how embarrassing! But at the same time we have to strike that balance between giving them reasonable freedom and keeping them safe. I wrestle with it every day, and we have plenty of rules at our house with safety in mind. At any rate, my prayers are with those girls in California. Being out late at a local lover's lane is not something I approve of, but they didn't deserve to be snatched for some pervert's twisted pleasure.
