AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 558) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | August 1, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 08/01/2002 4:02:09 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good Morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

In testimony before the Senate, a former Iraqi nuclear scientist said Hussein would be able to manufacture three nuclear bombs by 2005.

There is an intense debate, according to the Washington Pravda, going on inside the Administration on how best to topple the current regime in Iraq.

The Pentagon announced that Hammas is looking into ways to use chemical weapons with their terrorist bombers.

Airline are announcing a reduction in the number of flights on September 11, 2002 - noting that many Americans are not going to want to travel on that day.

Republicans intend to tie the issue of Iraq into the necessity for drilling in ANWR, saying Saddam makes it necessary to improve our domestic sources of oil.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

ITS NOT A GOOD A.M. TODAY, WE LOST SOME AMERICANS IN THE BOMBING YESTERDAY AND THIS SAD EVENT HAS MADE A LOT OF US FREEPERS MAD.

Americans just didn't happen to be in the building when it was bombed, it was meant to kill Americans and that they did. My heart foes out to the families of the deceased that they my find peace within. Those Americans wasn't shooting at the radicals, wasn't throwing rocks at the radicals, just going to Hebrew University for an education and thats all. How can we look at any differently than an attack aimed at OUR citizens. It is war, they declared it and we should act with force against the Hamasa.

Now that thats off my chest, I must say that the weather is wonderful down here. I went to 'the farm' yesterday cause it did not rain like it was suppose to and did not even work up a sweat and I did a lot of work up there. I cut my 'cross the street' neighbors pasture for him, bout 5 acres in all and his horses sure looked like they wanted to say 'thank you'. MY next project is starting my fence, man oh man, bet I will sweat then. Don't know if I should use wood for the post or the steal post, steal looks like it would be easy to 'plant'. How bout ya'll give me some guidence on which to use. I am putting up 7 acres of fence.

I am so tired of politicians beating their chest, 'look at me, look at me' and we have looked at you and don't like what we are seeing. I pray that the Repubs take the senate and keeps the house, can you even think of what all would be done for the good of America?

Prayers for all to have a safe day and free from illness and of course for those with speical needs. Prayers for OUR President W, lets shield him with our prayes to protect him from the attacks he is receiving and, for the elderly, always there for you with lots of advice, you might not accept our advice but we sure got a lot of it. Have a good day, after yesterday, we need a good day.

Good morning!

Yes, UG, I was planning to take a lawn mower in my suitcase. I had it all packed, too. It fit nicely in one and with a little heaving, a little extra muscle, I could actually pick up the suitcase.

BUT, hubby relented and said I could ship it instead. Good for me.

I can just imagine y'all thinking this big hulking riding mower like Dog has. Don't.

Picture instead an old-fashioned push lawnmower with those rotary blades. It makes that soothing swish-swish sound as you push it over your lawn. There is a fine mist of green being ejected out the back and over your shoes. The kind that died out in the 60s.

You can get them at ACE hardware for around a hundred bucks. The weight is not as great as before, the metal is a little more light weight, and, it breaks down into parts if you have to ship it anywhere.

Jemian, regardless of the explanation, it still struck us as funny that you actually had a lawnmower in your suitcase :)
I thought you were kidding at first :)

If you can't get it there and you can carry it and it isn't a forbidden item, you can pack it.

We expect to pay overweight each time we travel.

How about a wonderful little tropical isle that I know. Lots of empty white sand beaches with beautiful coral for your enjoyment. Hear the waves lapping on the shore as you lay in your hammock betwenn two palm trees. Enjoy the sound of native drums in the distance as you sip your drink in this delightful private piece of paradise.

Y'all thought I carried crazy things in my luggage? You need to read THIS article.
