Well, I hope they can continue their vacation. They haven't had one in 3 years...deaths in the family, and then last summer the husband had a heart attack and by-pass surgery. And they just had their dog put down as well.

I would appreciate prayers that they are ok and that they can enjoy the rest of their time there.

I am still alive and kicking ...... and my ISP is too for a change ..... finally.

Had an unbelievable day today ..... no disasters or crises ..... just one thing after another after another after another ..... the day changed course about a hundred times ..... and the next few days promise to be as bad or worse.

A couple of things I want to go ahead and mention in the hopes that someone will see this and take notice.

..... Daughter-child and the kidlings are moving this weekend and we are going to northern VA Friday to help out with that. The wee ones are getting too old to share a bedroom as they have up til now so she's found a 3-bedroom place.

..... So I won't be here this weekend ..... probably will be leaving Friday shortly after lunch and not returning until quite late Sunday evening.

Then 2 weeks later, son and d-i-l are moving ..... they are in the process of wrapping up the paperwork on buying their first house ..... :-)

..... We don't need to go help them move but will be going to TN the next weekend to see their new digs .... only we had already committed to keeping the grandkids that third week in August because daughter-child's baby-sitter will be on vacation (looks like I'll be following the adventures of Spongebob along with Jane ..... oh! Joy! ... *grins*) ... so we've got to fit the trip to TN in around and amongst the trips back and forth to DC and having the little ones here.

I'm tired just from thinking about it ..... and somehow we've got to manage to run the business in the midst of all of this ..... and have one of our key people out right now for surgery, which he had today and it was successful and he'll be fine ..... but we'll really miss his help, especially with hubby so tied up with all this other stuff.

So if someone can plan on helping out with the linky thing and breakfast for the next few weeks, it would be a great help to me.

At the very least, I need someone to do it Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights this week.

Jemian ~~~ gosh! the time has gone by so fast ...... I'm sure you have so many mixed feelings right now. Know that you and LD and all your family are in our prayers ..... and in God's loving care. .... ***HUGS***

..... And remind LD that all her surrogate moms and dads are right here if and when she needs us ..... (((((LD)))))

I was awakened bright and early this morning by the workers next door...and yes they plugged in 1st thing. I talked to husband, he was glad I had such good advice yesterday and did not approach anyone.

He suggested I snap a couple of digital pictures and he will talk to builder.

Husband laughed. He figures I'll still save on electric as son is not here to take 30 min showers, 2 loads of laundry each day and running stero TV computer all at the same time!
