Dog, what are the polls in NJ showing? Has "The Torch" seen any rise in his negatives?

Torch can't break 50 %......which is deadly for an incumbant..
The race is tight neck and neck....within the margin of error of 3 to 4 percent......deadheat!
Forrester is rich so money wont be a problem for him..

1-"The Hunt for Red October"
2-"Patriot Games"
3-"Clear and Present Danger"
4-"The Sum of All Fears"
5-"Debt of Honor"
6-:Executive Orders"
These are the ones I recall with Jack Ryan. There are other books , but they do not involve Ryan.To the best of my recollection these are in chronological order.

Sounds like "The Torch" could have some problems, but I understand he is like a "junkyard dog" when it comes to the campaigning.
I agree on "Red Storm Rising" as the best of the Clancy books.
No insult intended to you with the "junkyard dog" remark.
To: Dog
I don't know what is going on with Ritter. He was so upset with Iraq and how the UN couldn't inspect the facilities, and then Ritter did a complete about-face and now defends Iraq. I think someone got to him...
To: Dog
IMO, Scott Ritter has been bought.

#291...Dog, this is old news, although my reaction was the same as yours when I first realized he had flipped.
Someone/something GOT to him.
What a turncoat!
To: lysander13135
I agree. When he was an inspector he was 100% certain they were hiding "stuff". As soon as he is out of there he does a 180, and is just as adamant that they are as pure as the driven snow. Makes me believe some money has been laid on Mr.Ritter.
To: lysander13135; Utah Girl
Someone in Iraq gave Ritter $400,000 to go to Iraq to film a documentary on conditions there.
Tucker Carlson just asked him about it on CNN and for a split second I thought Ritter would come across the table and hit him. Ritter screamed at him about bringing it up....screamed!
Ritter blamed the future war with Iraq .........with get this....."those rabid conservatives...."

Wow, interesting conversation with Ritter. Thanks for watching CNN, I can't stomach that station at all...

Oh my gosh, you guys....thanks! So far, I've read Red October and Patriot Games. I have Clear and Present, but I wasn't sure if that came before or after The Sum of all Fears. Now I take it that Red Storm Rising and Cardinal and the Kremlin are not in the Ryan series?
