because it has recently been decided by the medical establishment that estrogen etc causes more problems than it cures.

When this news came out it made me wonder. They make you stop taking birth control pills at age 35 if you smoke because of the risk of heart disease and stroke. So aren't bc pills hormones? And couldn't they have figured out that giving women hormones, even if they don't smoke could be a problem? Just my simple thinking I guess.

Thank you for your kinds thought regarding the chicken soup. I tried to eat a bowl of chicken noodle at Panera's after my appt. The salt sent me straight thru the roof. I tried to eat some fresh bread w/miracle whip on it a little bit ago. I am still trying to get myself settled down.

What a nightmare. I simply MUST get some food in my stomach, but when I try, it feels like someone is attempting to drive a rusty old railroad spike into my gums.

Hey I can understand her on this one! Have y'all seen the movie "The Gift" starring Cate Blanchett, Giovanni Ribisi and Keanu Reeves? Billy Bob wrote it and said he drew from experiences with his mother. It was a VERY good movie! He may be a doofus in his personal life, but he writes interesting screenplays. Others of his include "Sling Blade" and "A Family Thing" starring Robert Duval and James Earl Jones (it is NOT to be missed!)

Well, I'm drinking my first cup of coffee. I have to swish warm water around my mouth after each sip of coffee, otherwise it just burns like he!!. I managed to eat a couple of slices of toast, using the warm water swishing method. It could be worse.
