I don't think you've ever driven through farmland. That is by no means "right next to". I count at least 2 18-wheeler lengths possibly more given the angle of the picture. Also looks like the crop is uphill from the highway. We have to good scale to judge the height of the crop itself. Depending on the height change from highway to crop and the hieght of the crop you could hold a freaking concert in that circle and the people on the road wouldn't see it.
