Well you see, they're very advanced, and their propulsion systems let them do the round-trip in about thirty minutes. The aliens have nothing to *learn* from us: they just draw crop circles during recess (kids!) for their amusement.

Maybe they're only two inches tall and this is their way of communicating important messages like "take me to your leader (after this anal probe - yeehaw!!!)".
