No offense guys, but we're talking probably three to five hours to actually do it, plus many hours beforehand to design and plan such a thing. I just can't see spending all that time for a total of $10 ;)

The pool has just begun. Since it's a bet you should be drawing people in too. It would really suck to get the bet way up there and then you loose. ;)

I have no idea where you live or what your yard looks like, but it would be interesting to see if you could create similar patterns in the grass in your yard, without using a lawn mower or such devices. Such a thing would be a much smaller scale, and as such would not take nearly the man power or time to accomplish.

Naturally, you would have to allow the yard to become overgrown so that the bending of the grass would be noticable, as well as all of the tracks and footprints around the perimeter of the design. I will through in 5 bucks, as well as a case of beer. I would even offer my yard as a test bed, but I live too far away from where you are at.
