Thanks for that body language info. I always enjoy that Jo-Alan gal when she is on t.v. interpreting someone's body language.

Yep, you gotta love W. Here he is kissing and hugging this young lady yet still maintaining contact with the man pictured. Slick could never, ever do that. He was always front and center, stiff as a board hogging the camera, front and center.

TO - thanks for the wonderful link! Good stuff there.

IG - I have it on very good authority that you are in fact a FOX hiding/disguising yourself in coveralls. Don't do the MissPitiful routine here. It won't play.

This is still the Investigative Guild. We'll find you out.

Have a great evening everyone. JL

Love that W. We just purchased tickets for dinner with him on behalf of our Governor's candidate. $250 a plate. I hope it isn't chicken.

Those Carhartt overalls get sort of warm this time of year,, their only saving grace is you don't need to wear "much" under them! :~)

Did daughter give you the okay to purchase a doll buggy for her for her birthday? Let us know which one you choose....

NO! We couldn't make up our minds. That's one of the problems with the internet, too many choices. And Laney (tired of calling her grandbaby) kept trying to peek at the computer when we were looking, so we'll try tomorrow to pick one out over the phone. I will let you know which one we choose.

I went a little grandma crazy at Target the other day so she had lots of new goodies to play with today.

A PowerPuff Girl umbrella, PPG key chain with action sounds (LOL), Hello Kitty figurine, a huge purple ball, two dresses (one with Pooh of course) and a tee-shirt with lady bugs.

But by far she had the most fun playing with her Uncle. He'll be an excellent dad some day, just like his dad. :-) *Proud mom!*

Each episode will be with a dinner party thrown by the Manhattan socialites for their celebrity friends.

And if they can't get anybody to attend (which I'm thinking is likely) David and Liza will dine with David's dolls.

I'm afraid this is must see TV. I won't rubberneck an accident on the highway but this show irresistable!! My bet... two shows then it tanks because they'll run out of people longing to be embarrassed.

Does anyone know why this precious lady would still have the price tag on her umbrella?
Toooooo cute.

Hello everyone. We just got back from a Marathon drive to North Carolina and back. We left at 5AM and we got in at 7PM. Whew! My backside hurts from all that sitting and driving.

Hubby had been under a lot of stress, with so many new projects at his job. He went and asked his boss, (Told his boss) "Hey, I'm outta here. I need a few days off." He said, "OK, take Friday off and next week too."

So off we went to North Carolina to see MiniT and and take back the teen age grand daughter. She'll start school in August. She also is having a very difficult time accepting what is going on. She still did not see, that the home she once shared with her mom, sibblings and the step-creep is no longer there. Heck, the baby is still having shared custody with the creep.

Plus, MINI-T needs her there by her side. Mini-T is not doing well. She cries and cries and cries. We are praying that this whole custody and divorce will be over soon enough and we can have the baby, Mini-T and the rest of the family here with us. We still have the 2 boys. They will start school here in September.

So here I am. 9:30PM and just now freeping. That's OK, because i can say HI to all of you tomorrow. Hopefully, I will have more time to freep.

bigwavebetty, How could we forget this fine Conservative Republican man?

She probably left home without an umbrella and had to pick one up somewhere after it started raining. Don't know why she didn't take the price tag off,, probably just forgot. She probably has another one just like it on the shelf in her coat closet at home.

Thanks for welcoming me into the Guild...but...I have a confession to make....I have a pearl necklace...but....sigh...no deviled egg plate. Actually I saw one at a yard sale a few weeks back and was really drawn to it and didn't know why. I NEVER make deviled eggs (although I absolutely love them and will clean up at plateful at a potluck). I think it was the Guild calling me in...AND SHUCKS...I didn't bite.

Can I maybe be a probationary member until I get my plate???? PLEASE....????

My self esteem is on the line here and....would it help if I remind Hillary's lovely legs that I'm originally from Michigan and a diehard UofM fan????

I don't own a deviled egg dish, but I can make them. I am also a die hard Wolverine fan. Did you go to school there?

'm still looking in vain for what drove the soccer moms crazy about ol' Bent.

It was his neediness IMHO. He so obviously craved attention, adulation, love and so obviously wasn't getting it from Hitlery. He was a lead-pipe cinch to appeal to liberal, codependent women. They admired Hitlery for twisting his cojones in a vise, then they turned around and wanted to make poor Bill better. The gruesome twosome had amazing appeal to liberal codependent idiots. LCDIs. LICDs? Liberal idiotic codependents? (sounds like lickits. LOL

thanks for update on your family. I think all will be well. MiniT will come through. We've all gone through rotten times and became stronger because we did.

As for what I want in a man, how about a conservative so dedicated that he's willing to put his fortune where his mouth is. No, not Dubya, though he's everything any girl could want. But dark horse flat tax proponent Steve Forbes. This is an older photo when Steve had all of his hair. With apologies to Mrs. Forbes, I do think he's very appealing. His qualities turn me directly on. As the (very) old song says,

"He may not be the man some
Girls think of as handsome
To my heart, he carries the key.

Most of my family went to U of M (including my brother) and my folks had season tickets from the time I was a baby. I think I went to my first game in 3rd grade...there's a picture of me "all dressed up" getting into the car. It was kind of like a "right of passage"

I actually went to Albion College about 45 minutes from Ann Arbor so I still spent lots of time in AA during my college days. Went to a huge highschool(my claim to fame is Tim Allen was in my graduating class, although I don't remember him)and wanted the coziness of a small college.
Moved to Ohio right after graduation and have been here since although we still proudly root for the Wolverines!
