rofl you crack me up
bacon and egg sandwiches are delish
when I walked my dog in lower manhattan
I'd stop at candy store
and ask for bacon and egg sandwich to-go
and container of coffee light and sweet
I can't figure out now how I managed to eat my sandwich, drink my coffee, and walk my dog on leash at same time
but I did
new yorkers are so adaptable

;-) There's something very comforting to me about a nice fried egg & crispy bacon sandwich. I use an old cast iron skillet on the outdoor grill's side burner and while the bacon's frying, I prep the bread with plenty of salad dressing.

When the bacon's done and the heat's lowered, in goes Mr.Egg with his yolk puctured to spread the goodness. Shortly thereafter I'm in paradise with my sandwich and frosty cold milk.

Sometimes I'll add a slice of cheese, or some sliced tomatoes for a bigger treat.

Good idea about freezing a pot of water for the dogs..they can lick away, at the ice, and then when it begins to melt, they can have a frosty drink...good thinking...

I am with Happy,balloons popping always make me jump too...

Well, I guess I should start cooking BigDoms dinner now...get ready for him, when he gets up...
