Well, you do have a point about those sad looking bassets...but often, with Helga anyway, when she was happy, she would run around, her long ears blowing high, and I swear she had a grin on her pretty face...

But yes, they always do look 'forlorn' in general...but we know, they have happy, happy, souls and hearts...

Lod posted the cutest pic of a basset in front of a fan with his ears pinned back by the air flow.It's hard not to laugh at such dogs when you look at their faces and legs!!
