As hollywood continues to beleive acting qualifies you as an expert on current affairs, I find myself not being able to patronize their movies. I once heard a quote that it used to be that fame brought celebrity, but now celebrity brings fame. here is my list of hollywood idiots who I cannot bring myself to watch in a movie or anymore. Lets add yours to the list:
Julia Roberts (top of my list, cannot stand the wench)
Richard Dreyfuss
Cammryn Mannhein
Rosie O Donut
Sharon Stone (not for political views, just a horrid actress)
Rob Reiner (anything he is involved in)
Tom Cruise (stero typical hollywood flake)
Nicole Kidman (see Above)
Bill Maher (enough said)
Help me expand my list
An obscure actress , upon recieving an award, stated that in days of yore, actors were considered rogues and vagabonds, and that we should still considered ourselves in that light. she was insightful beyond her years.
Chicks I'd like to nail?Denise often seem to play hyper-intelligent roles (Starship Troopers, The World Is Not Enough), suggesting she might actually be so IRL. Perhaps another non-liberal, though her taste in grooms is somewhat lacking.

We saw it last week. Another great movie...
I never saw the original. But I have a friend who says the new one is better...
Why has narrow mindedness become an insult and dirty word. Narrow mindedness allowed me to marry a wonderful, beautiful woman. I am very narrow minded when operating a vehicle or handling my finances.
Free thinking and open mindedness are excuses to not make hard choices.
But my interpretation of "live, liberty and the pursuit of happiness," allows me to read the things I want, watch the things I want, eat the things I want and buy the things I want because I enjoy them.
That was Chuck's nice way of saying Hollywierdos believe in, gun control, redistribution of wealth, blah, blah, blah...........for everyone except themselves.
Chuck Heston--my hero, for sure (and a real hunk, even as a geezer--LOL!)
OMIGOD-- was THAT the film he was talking about? Oh lord love a duck... I turned Rushbo on half way through his waxing poetic on some 'deeply conservative, moral film' and I was curious as to what he was talking about. He then mentioned Tom Cruise and I thought he must have been talking about Minority Report.
Vanilla Sky? Good Lord... Now, I admit I haven't seen this film--but the previews made it look as bad as Eyes Wide Shut. I can't stand Cruise anyway (though not as much for his politics than for his absolutely vapid, dull screen presence.)--so this movie looked wretched.
Okay... Rush hates the Ramones, but loved Vanilla Sky. The guy has officially lost it.
Tom Cruise.
Richard Gerbil Gere.
I had some free tickets so I went to see "Lord of the Rings". I found myself looking at my watch wondering when it was going to be over. I used to be a big "Star Wars" fan and I forgot to see the last one. I asked one of my gun buddies their opinion of "Reign of Fire" and they said it was stupid.
If I need a little adrenaline, I'll go to the gun range.
Narrow minded? I prefer to say that I have high standards.
Maybe that's why he drank.
