My good friend and veteran Freeper, TroutStalker is scheduled for surgery today at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland OH.
Post your "Get Well Quick" wishes to TroutStalker here.
I will make sure that he gets the URL to this thread or, if needed, I will print it out and get it to him.
TroutStalker is a veteran Freeper. He and his dog Max freeped clinton when he was here at the VFW convention, counter freeped anti-gun nuts at the NRA convention and was one of the leaders of the many protests we had during the 2000 Presidential election fiasco. He posts a lot of Wall Street Journal articles and joins various discussions.
TroutStalker suffers from Crohn's disease. Crohn's disease is a chronic condition and may recur at various times over a lifetime. Some people have long periods of remission, sometimes for years, when they are free of symptoms. For more information click the link above or check out this list.
He has been experiencing pretty severe pain and discomfort for some time. The surgery today will remove a small section of the intestine that has become scarred and is causing the problem. He could be hospitalized for about 10 days. It should help cheer him during the recovery process to read positive comments from all of his friends on FR.

Dear Troutstalker:
Wow. Sorry to hear about your medical condition. I'll think some really mean but well deserved things about Hillary, Dashole, Gephardt, McCain (he soo belongs on the list) and more, over and above what I usually do, to cover for you while you rest and heal.
Seriously, though, I'll pray for your speedy recovery. We need your help fighting the good fight for the conservative cause.
Your FReeper friend,
RAT Patrol

Well Paul, I haven't made it up to KC yet, and you have not made it down here to Wichita yet. I hope you get real well real soon because you know we all will be needed so long as there are Rats that need to be straightened out and you are one of the best at that.
God Bless you and heal you.
KCPopps, Thanks for letting me know about this. I appreciate it.

I met TroutStalker at a Freeper rally at the Plaza during the election of last November. We were all there to support Bush.
We had to wait to occupy the best location along 47th street until the Peta girls got cold enough to pack it into their limo. They were wearing sandwich boards (and little else except their leather shoes) which read, "I'd rather go naked than wear fur."
All the best TS, and a speedy and complete recovery.

Hey man, get better fast! I have heard of a few people who have Crohns, it's a rotten thing to have to deal with!

Prayers for you an your recovery.

Hey, guy. There aren't any trout streams in Cleveland worth a dang. Certainly not to rival those of the west that I know and those of the east that you used to harvest. Get well, heal up and I expect to see you soon.
You have been one of the backbones of Freeperdom in the Kansas City area. Your opening your home for the first FR picnic was only one example of your leadership by example. We know that there will be some recovery time from such as this you are going through and we will be available if you need some company, on-line, or in person.
As the only FR poster that trained his dog to fetch a bowling ball, such stubborness is needed on the internet every day.
We've got a midterm election to wage. We need our best line General here soon.
Eagles Up!
