Daisy, I think Jenna is just fed up with the press. I agree and think she is so cute, but everytime there is a picture of her any place she ends up being critiqued from head to toe. Not to mention all the constant drunk jokes.
Y'all have to hear what happened to me yesterday. I ran out about 2:30 my time to just do a little shopping. I came back about 4:00 and pulled into my parking lot and saw a baby running through the parking lot in nothing but a diaper! He was about 2ish and obviously had been out for a while because he was all pink and very dirty. I pulled into a space and called 911 on my cell phone. Since it was on my cell phone the call went to another towns 911 center, so I told them who covers our area gave them my address and cell # and he said he would call that center. Guys, this little boy was so cute! He was blonde and had big blue eyes and just looked like a cherub! It broke my heart to know he could be gone so long and no one would be looking for him! I ran over to him because he was playing right next to the edge of the water. I steered him back over to the swings. He was pretty shy and wouldn't tell me his name.
Then, not just one police car showed up, three or four police cars showed up, two fire trucks, an 2 ambulances and the fire marshall all were there in about 5-10 minutes. They said no one had reported a missing child. To make a long story short, (I know, too late!) a family was staying with someone who lived in one of the units and this was thier baby. Neighbors had called the police on three seperate occasions to report that this person wasn't taking care of thier children (there is a little girl also), but supposedly they had no reason to charge this person with anything until now. I don't know what happened after they found the family, but about 7-10 police and fire fighters and EMT's were in his condo for a really long time. It's a shame that people have children they obviously don't want. This little boy was such a doll I couldn't believe anyone wouldn't care what happens to him. It really broke my heart.
Please be VERY careful
with google and today's theme.
Shocking, I tell ya. Just shocking.
MIAMI - The "Janet Reno Dance Party" isn't just a comedy skit anymore.
Reno, the former attorney general who wants to become Florida's next governor, will be holding a dance party fund-raiser July 19 at Level, a trendy club on Miami's South Beach.
NBC's "Saturday Night Live" had an ongoing skit featuring Will Ferrell dressed in drag as Reno and leading a dance party.
Reno herself made a cameo appearance on 'SNL' before leaving Washington, breaking through a false wall and performing the twist with Ferrell, dressed as her lookalike.
"Janet is not your typical politician, nor is her campaign for governor a typical campaign," said campaign spokeswoman Nicole Harburger. "We try to do things in a different way."
Level is a popular spot for celebrities, with rap impresario Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, supermodel Heidi Klum and pop queen Britney Spears among those who have partied there in recent weeks.
Actors Damon Wayans and Marlon Wayans and singer Ziggy Marley have already confirmed they will appear at the party, and actor Denzel Washington is likely to attend, said club owner Gerry Kelly.
Other celebs invited to appear include Jodie Foster, Kim Basinger, Glenn Close, Al Pacino and Matt Damon, Kelly said.
Reno has received campaign help from other celebrities, including former talk show host Rosie O'Donnell, singer Elton John and actor Martin Sheen, who plays President Josiah Bartlet on NBC's "The West Wing."
Tickets are $25 each, with all proceeds going to Reno's campaign fund.
