I can tell you that I meant something entirely different. I had thought, for some reason, that you were implying that her ex (lucky as he is) had exercised his second amendment rights with her cats.
That's assuming that anything she said is true, but that's a different battle.
BTW, I'd be pretty much the same WRT my cat if I still had him. He's living with my brother-in-law's brother now due to severe allergies.
