The story was a stupid loose fuse thingie that ran the whole electronic system of the van - which runs the whole van - so when it disconnected, it stopped. However, the guys at the Ford service shop hadn't seen this before and all their computer diagnostics equipment didn't give them enough clues, so I had to pay for their labor while they figured it out. It fries me. But it was simple to fix when they did find the problem.
