It must be a natural boy thing. At one year old Tyler was completely in awe of belly dancers. Now, he's at that age where he's not quite old enough to use the men's room, or locker room at the bath house, alone, but is a bit too old to be in with the ladies. He got quite a show yesterday at the hot springs when I had to take him in the ladies showers. It was a little embarassing having him gawking like that. The up side is that I don't have to worry about him being gay. Hehehe...

"I suspected that MTV caused warping" Not a doubt in my mind. I never allowed Dawn to watch MTV, although I'm sure she probably did when visiting friends with more liberal and lenient parents than I was.

You on vacation too catpuppy? Wow, seems we're all communing from the road...almost.

We got another good downpour last night and again this morning. I am really glad to see it. This is supposedly the worst drought Colorado has seen in 85 years. It's cleared up now, and hopefully it will stay nice tomorrow, but I am thankful that there has finally been substantial rain. The creek in the back of the house here is running again. It was almost dry.

Another legitimate funkle? D**n I'm good. Hehehehe...

;-) Dang - the Queen of Funkle - Hail to the Queen.
Great news on your rain.
Bad news on the CenTex scene - MORE is forecast for the foreseeable future. If you don't hear from me, know that Sodom on the Colorado has been swept away.

I already spend a great deal of time cooking for one. Heavens, no more!
My daughter eats 4 eggs, 4 slices of bacon, hotcakes, oatmeal and fruit just for breakfast. If I ate like that I would weigh 500lbs.
Come to think of it, I'll trade ya, my one for your 3 or 4.. probably cheaper.

Hi there. Now Saturday evening and Catriona is just about to head to the nightclub. So far three girls here and waiting for the others before they go. Oh to be young again!! (Not)
I am going to Aberdeen in the morning to visit with Victoria for the day. She is having to find another flat to stay in as the girl who owns the flat is putting the rent up.
I go to ireland at the end of the month, for 3 days and looking forward to the break. Patricia is away in France at the minute and is due back next Saturday.
Glad that everyone is well, (cats included)
Hear you later SL

Good evening.
Thanks for the thread I have looked at some of it and will read the rest later, taking time to reply to everyone who has been so kind in writing to me.
Hope you had a good day on the 4th and enjoyed any fireworks that were in your area. I love fireworks, but we only have them here in November. Take care SL
To: lodwick
Do you have a boat? Raft? Perhaps it's time to look into investing in one. Seriously though, I hope your rain stops soon. Seems like it's always one extreme or the other.

Evening lassie - good to see ya here.
When you go to the opening page of FR, there are buttons for the USO Canteen, A Few of FR's Finest, The Guild, and The Poetry Club to take you directly to these fine threads instantly.
Maybe we can get a FReeople button one day.
Have a super evening. JL

Thankfully, our home is on the ridge of one of the seven main hills here in Austin. Any your observation is correct, CenTex seldom gets it "Just Right." ;-)

Just enough time for a flyby post. I hope everyone had a great 4th.
Valerie, the pictures are just wonderful, as usual. :)
Mo, sorry you're feeling under the weather, it sounds like you've recovered enough to put husband back to work on the porch. That's progress. LOL
LisaAnne and .38, Congratulations on the new houses. I'm so thrilled for you both. :)
Sweet, sounds like you're having great fun.
Scotslass, we are delighted to have you join us.
catpuppy, we must be on the same coast. LOL. It has been rainy here, too.
loddy, thanks for the reminder about the President's birthday.
Happy Birthday, Mr President
