Mom, here's a pic of my husbands ice box.. They had it in the back shed when I met Al, and still used it now and then when they had all the kids home or other company.. Thank ghod we got it out of the house before it burned...
Like I said before, I've never seen one for sale this big.. We keep our booze in it now.. lol His mother would roll over in her grave...

we had one in our cabin in adirondacks
but it wasn't pretty at all
(just functional, we didn't have frig)

That icebox looks like one (Minus wood finish) at an old farm near me. It used to belong to a local artist named Marie Zimmerman. Don't know if it will still work, though. No-one from the historical society or the F.O.M.Z. society has had the guts, or heart, to pull it out and hook it up. (F.O.M.Z. is the 'Friends of Marie Zimmerman' society, she died in '72 after the Tocs Island dam project fell through and the Delaware National Water Gap park began... (Illegally, without a charter))
