I know Loddy.. We've checked out some small ones and this one has to be worth a lot.. It is the biggest we've ever seen for an antique..

we had ice box
but it was itty bitty thing
one block of ice for top
then small area below for food

I dont know when refrigeration was invented
I remember as kid everyone would go to air conditioned movies
to be cool during hot summers

when I read that book ''Life with Father''
he said at first only doctors and department stores had telephones
it took a while for regular people to get them
maybe it was same with ac
in Barry Goldwater's autobiography he said when they air conditioned the department store in Arizona his father owned
