Thanks Carolina, we had such a good time! I really enjoyed The Power Puff Girls movie. If you have girls take them to see it, it's really cute.
Please have a safe trip and lots of fun on the 4th. I wish you were still here so I could tell you, in case you run into Tippy, smile sweetly and say, "Bless your heart." :-) You can always save it for the next visit.
Cartoon characters (L-R) Bubble, Blossom, Buttercup and Professor Utonium are shown in a scene from the new animated film 'The Powerpuff Girls Movie' which opens July 3, 2002 in the United States. The film follows the adventures of the Powerpuff Girls, kindergarten students who have powers such as laser beam eyes, superhuman strength and the ability to fly at the speed of light. (Warner Bros. via Reuters)
My favorite line in the movie: "Get your hands off of me you darn dirty ape!" Buttercup gets grabbed by MoJo-JoJo the evil chemically altered monkey who is the bad guy. I think I enjoyed it as much as my granddaughter did!

OhioWfan, it fills my heart with pleasure when I hear a mother speak so proudly of her son. We are all proud of Eric too.
Tell Eric that we are grateful and honored that he chose to serve our country. Then the next chance you get give him an extra big hug from us!

I'm jealous. We get to go see Power Rangers, Star Wars and other boy-genre movies. (I must say, Spiderman was pretty good)
All our girls are teens except the one who's 7 weeks old. All boys in between. I miss going to the baby chick movies like Pocahantas and The Little Princess.

Why, oh why, does an otherwise rational adult consent to building a float for a parade. The Mr. has gotten into the act and informs me it is not stable. We've been out there stablizing it,, and fighting mosquitoes. The majority of the work will need to be done upon arrival in the parade town (20 miles).
To top things off I forgot my pain meds at noon,,,, didn't realize it until around 5:00 pm when intense pain set in as I was driving down the road. Headache, jaw pain, and the burning stuff in my neck and shoulders,,,, I will turn in early and get up before dawn to get things organized when I can concentrate on something other than survival.
To: BigWaveBetty
I will for sure, BWB! I sure wouldn't mind giving him a big hug sooner than the 6 weeks it will be until I see him again! Thanks!
