HI, everyone, will go read the threads later but wanted to bring you up to date on Nacho. We were off to the vet this afternoon where he got a fluid treatment and will get them 3 times a week. I can do that. and he has some high bloodpressure meds now and an antiacid to coat his mouth and k/d food which I know he will hate no flavor so I need to doctor it up. But this afternoon he seems more like himself and I suspect when his mouth settles down in the next few days he will be more like himself. All we can hope for at this point is to keep him stable. He did not present like a cat normally would with kidney failure..none of the really classic symptoms..and then the dental problems and the mouth sores and bloods tell the tale..So fingers are crossed. Sure glad we went to europe when we did! Getting cat care sitters now is going to be a challenge!
ozzie is just here and I need to help unload the car. BBL... CG

Any bets on how long it takes the Swervie to take the teacher's side?? Nope. The teacher is a stupid ass. I don't object to any religious activity that isn't state organized or supported and that does not involve the ritual sacrifice of me or mine.

Ritual sacrifices generally require virgins.

Ritual sacrifices generally require virgins. It's that cutting the living heart out with an obsidian blade stuff I was referring to. A pulse was the only requirement.

I'm beat. We've been bumper boating, go carting, super sliding and I taught Tyler how to cheat at play mini golf. To top it off, it must have been 100 degrees out there today.

"It's that cutting the living heart out with an obsidian blade stuff I was referring to" Swerve, did you ever think that maybe you're hanging out with the wrong crowd? That's how it starts you know...a drink, a joint, a pill here and there, next thing you know you're contemplating your navel, sleeping in trees and being considered a candidate for ritual sacrifice.

*Yawn*
Oh well. I think I need a nap. BBL.

An elderly couple is enjoying an anniversary dinner together in a small tavern. The husband leans over and asks his wife, "Do you remember the first time we had sex together over fifty years ago? We went behind this tavern where you leaned against the fence and I made love to you."
"Yes," she says, "I remember it well."
"OK," he says, "How about taking a stroll 'round there again and we can do it for old time's sake."
"Oooooooh, you devil, that sounds like a good idea," she answers.
There's a police officer sitting in the next booth listening to all this, and having a chuckle to himself. He thinks, "I've got to see this...two old-timers having sex against a fence. I'll just keep an eye on them so's there's no trouble."
So he follows them. They walk haltingly along, leaning on each other for support, aided by walking sticks.
Finally they get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence. The old lady lifts her skirt, takes her thong off and the old man drops his trousers. She turns around and as she hangs on to the fence, the old man moves in.
Suddenly they erupt into the most furious sex that the watching policeman has ever seen. They are bucking and jumping like eighteen-year-olds. This goes on for about forty minutes! She's yelling, "Ohhhh, God!" He's hanging on to her hips for dear life. This is the most athletic sex imaginable.
Finally, they both collapse panting on the ground. The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life that he didn't know. He starts to think about his own aged parents and wonders whether they still have sex like this.
After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The policeman, still watching, thinks "That was truly amazing! He was going like a train. I've got to ask him what his secret is."
As the couple passes, he says to them "That was something else! You must have been having sex for about forty minutes. How do you manage it? You must have had a fantastic life together. Is there some sort of secret?"
"No, there's no secret," the old man says, "except that fifty years ago that damn fence wasn't electric".

"I am starting to believe that the ONLY way to defeat the Leftists is to flood the judicial system with these types of Lawsuits EXACTLY LIKE THEY DO. "
The only problem with that is we'd be employing mostly liberal leftists since a huge percentage of trial lawyers are dems.

From Associated Press NEW YORK (AP) -- There will be no grilled Martha Stewart on ``The Early Show'' on CBS Wednesday.
The domestic diva cancelled her appearance on the CBS morning news program late Tuesday after being told she would be asked about the investigation into her stock dealings.
She had been booked to talk about ice box desserts.
It means there will be no repeat of her memorable appearance on the program last week, when Stewart continued to chop cabbage for a salad as host Jane Clayson asked her questions about alleged insider trading.
I think Martha is just about "all used up".

Hi, Scottie,:)
Ozzie and Kristie and Shana had a great visit...Shana is a real head turner now at 18. They got home last night.
Michelle and Butch are in the air now on the way to France. They get there about 11:30 Paris time and then Butch's cousin picks them up at the airport and off they go to the South of France near the Spanish boarder where the cousin has a condo. They come home the 10th. Nice trip but not as nice as ours was...:) Nacho is better tonite. He has some appetite again. I have some meds for him and the fluid therapy which I can do here at home for him and I think he has a chance to have some good days. I say this because he does not fit the profile of a kitty with kidney disease..he has a good coat, does not vomit, has an appetite, and is not skinney...so fingers are crossed.
One of these nites we are going to connect. Oh when do you go to N Ireland? hope to catch you on the thread. Tomorrow I go to the gym at 10:30 and then in the afternoon we are running an errand about a new kitchen table and chairs..I want a refectory table but can't find one!:( I like the idea that they are a little more narrow than some of the standard tables...
See you on the threads...so glad you are posting here. Nice group of folks...
