You know, life is always stranger than, and more interesting than made up stories...a foot licker attacking womens feet in the supermarket...the food licker seemd to be attacted to womens toes, with pretty nail polish

WATCH OUT, PALO...you love to put pretty nail polish on your toenails...beware of toe and foot lickers...

Fort Ross was started by about 25 Russians, along with some Inuit, I believe...They arrived in 1812...Primarily they were there in California to hunt the sea otter for the pelts...the fort was really pretty extensive, with lots of buildings for living and working and there is also a church....

Eventually the sea otter became more and more scarce...the Russians did try agriculture and farming, but it was a failure due to the damp, windy, chlly, and foggy conditions along the coast...

Eventually by about 1841, or so, the Russians left...

Many of the buildings at the fort today, are not the original buildings, but reconstructions...but I believe there are many original artifacts left behind..

Its really an interesting place to visit...
