Basicly it boiled down to Bert earning an "A+" because he always had the right answer, or something along those lines.
That's how I got here. Someone had put up one of firehat's beauties and trying to trace the source I ended up at FR. Started lurking and then registered just to start flaming DonMorgan. Ha,ha!
Everything evolves and this is still the best place on the net.

Sure fits a number of politicians and pontificators. . . . and sadly even the character in my mirror--though I hope only years ago.
I think Jim and his moderators are doing a bang-up VOLUNTEER JOB of great service to us and the nation. So what if they don't always fit my sensibilities or preferences. I'm sure I don't fit theirs.
On the whole, they do great and they have my wholehearted support.
Whenever he left his home (i.e. posted elsewhere) he did it as "A Bert". That's all I can recollect seeing about his screenname, except he must hold the record for number of variations of a screenname: A+Bert, A Bert, A+ Bert (on probation)...
"We the people" want to No! where is a good place to play some golf, man and smoke a cigar on a Mountain.
Mine too! Slow news days can be downright boring sometimes, but I can always look to FR for an uplift (unless the server's down and panic starts to flood my veins...lol!).
