their only crime was being American I know you and Val don't agree, but their 'crime' was going to a foreign country and irritating the pagan natives by preaching at them. If they had minded their own business they would be home, healthy and happy right now.

:) No, dahlin' Swerve, I don't agree with you on this one. I think the two girls who were held in Afghanistan were at fault. They put a lot of lives in danger trying to save them and no doubt impeded our progess in the critical first days of the war there. They acted very foolishly. The Burnhams situation was somewhat different and the times were not as risky when they first began their mission.
