Congrats on the Canes winning! (hockey?) Just doing a drive-by waving this evening. I had my sister's youngest son (5 years old) over the weekend, and he is high-maintenance. Good kid, just needs attention all the time... And my grandma is back at my parents' house for the month of June, so I sat with her this evening and taught the five year old nephew to play Rook with grandma. Three hours of card-playing, not my cup of tea.

And now I am at home, girding myself up for another day of work. There is some dissension in the ranks with new managament, I have given them 6 months, and then will look for a transfer. Others have decided that a face-to-face confrontation is necessary right now, I gracefully (I hope) declined to be part of it. I am not good at confrontation, there was a mess left behind and the new managers have to clean it up, and I will give them that opportunity to do so.

Prayers to all those who need them, and to those who think they don't, mine are going up for you anyway. :)

And last but not least, what kind of a man displays his doll collection on QVC? I had the TV on while I was fixing dinner, and it was on QVC. And Richard Simmons was displaying his doll collection...Yikes. Double yikes.

And I have enjoyed watching the Golden Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth. PBS has had a couple of programs on about her mother, the Queen Mum and father, King George VI, very interesting history. I wasn't aware of much of it. Just one question, where was Prince Charles this morning for the ceremony??? I kept looking for him and Camilla, and never did spot them. I did see Prince William and Prince Harry. Say what you like about Princess Diana, but she gave good looks back to the royal line.

Good to hear from you ..... I was beginning to get concerned. Yes, 5 year-olds are high maintenance ..... they really keep you on your toes ....:-)

..... our family doctor told me once that I should be thankful that my kids were so active and inquisitive .... it meant they were very bright!

Prayers for your situation at work! .... and *hugs*
