Like we said last nite, I was wearing long underwear, and you had no panties on at all...
Did Bill make a BLT for you?
What did Miss Lulu do on her walk today?
When you speak sunflowers you remind me of my dad...
When we lived in Chicago, of course we had a gangway(hope you all know what that is)...and there was a wide strip of dirt next to the gangway sideway...so my dad always planted sunflowers there...they grew so huge....
When he moved out to northern California, he loved his garden...grew all sorts of things...but his pride and joy were his big enormous sunflowers..
Now as fall and winter approach, and the heads of the sunflowers go to seed, the birds have a feast on those seeds...but always some of those seeds, land on the grand, and take hold and overwinter, ,and then they begin to grow again in the summer...
Interestingly some of the largest heads on sunflowers come from these seeds that have dropped off of last seasons sunflower heads, rather than seeds straight from the package...
In fact the fellow who lived next door to my dad, entered his sunflower head into the county fair, and won first prize for the largest head...and that largest head came from a seed from the previous summers sunflowers..He knew this, because the year that he grew the prize winner, he had not planted any sunflowers from seed packages...all his sunflowers, were sprouts from his previous summers sunflowers...
Now where my dad lived, was Redwood Valley California, just on the edge of the desert...and its boiling hot there...and its boiling hot where you live...I think sunflowers just thrive in hot, hot, dry conditions and thats why you found a sunflower with such a big head...
Now if there is some talented person out there, what we need to see, is a pic of a basset hound, with her snappy face substituting for the main seed part of the sunflower, and her face surrounded by all the sunflower petals...
Have a good swim...
