Lulu is stretched out like hussy (with everything showing)
right where evap cooler blows cool breeze over her belly
altho I actually saw her sunbathin' an hour before

we stopped to say hi to Rosalie on our walk
Lulu likes to go into her yard and snoop
snooping is Lulu's favorite activity (right up there with chasing cats)

I am still giggling at your post from last night at bassets treatin' us like furniture
it is not fun having Lulu sitting in my lap in car, plus she digs her nails in my thighs

Yes, indeed, Basset think people are furniture for their pleasure...and why do bassets have such long nails? My other dogs never had nails like my bassets

Cutting Helgas nails was tricky...she hated to have her nails clipped..I had this little instrument I used on her, and when she saw me pull it out, she would scream and run away...we had to hold her down, and do only one or two nails at a time, she wiggled so, and caused such a fuss...

It was difficult, containing, that wriggly, squirmy porky girl, when she wanted to get away and hide...
