I would respectfuly point out, that as far as comparison between the sexes goes, (and we are talking about Combat type front line units here), Look at it this way, Marion Jones Olympic Gold medalist in the 110, and 222, Ran the 110, in 10.75 seconds. She would have finished OUT OF THE MONEY in last years NJ HIGH SCHOOL Sprinting, and lost by over .75 seconds. (Like losing a football game by several touchdowns.)
I am sure those reassigned women will make fine cooks and nurses....tee hee

Not particularly.... not because I couldn't do the job, just that I am lazy and don't want to get up at that hour...and I don't respond well to orders. :-)
I think that if a person meets one set of qualifications (everybody has to meet that set) and if the person is mentally sound (well... lol) and if they get the job done right, I don't give a good hot damn what sex they are.
If a person cannot meet the physical, mental, and intelligent qualifications.. then fine, give them a less tasking job.

I've been trying to give my kids a bit of musical education (Beatles, Zeppelin, acoustic T-Rex, Motown, Donovan, the Dead, Tull, Yes, some classical, etc.), so they don't get too caught up in the latest mega-media productions and rudeness that passes for music on MTV xsteen prides herself on being able to identify music, and has been able to pick out led zeppelin when hearing it. i get tired of her asking if the people are dead or in a walker now, though.....
