"Hurdy Gurdy Man" is probably my favorite.

I prefer the cover version by The Butthole Surfers.

I'm not kidding. There really is an alternative rock band named that.

LOL, I don't mind being in the general forum. ALthough I must say I do mind certain threads being posted in the "big" forum that really should be over here. :-)

Rika, dear, just know that where ever you are "Big" is.

( as in The best, of course) I have learned never to tell a gal she is big without being very very clear.

regards

I know it's not nearly as good as the NFL, but it can still be pretty exciting. The CFL starts June 25 (schedule here), first televised game June 28. I don't know if I'll make it that long...

I don't know much aboot CFL. Don't they have like sixteen guys per side, play on a field the size of Delaware, and kick the ball alot more?

Butthole Surfers had some classics. Didn't they do "Take the Skinheads Bowling"? I remember them from the 80's along with Black Flag (Henry Rollins is still putting out some good stuff), Minutemen, Flipper, etc.

That's pretty much it! Longer field of 110 yards, and wider too, 25 yard deep endzones, 3 downs not 4, 12 players instead of 11, other rule differences, more kicking goes on, etc.

I've been trying to give my kids a bit of musical education (Beatles, Zeppelin, acoustic T-Rex, Motown, Donovan, the Dead, Tull, Yes, some classical, etc.), so they don't get too caught up in the latest mega-media productions and rudeness that passes for music on MTV.
