Its hard to plant a mustard seed in the middle of a cyclone

All of what you said was just the thing to rest a soul.
Nice Eulogy thanks for sharing.
To: Dante3
Dante3 I pray an advisor come to aid the Levys'. When I need custom wheelchair work I travel to that finesse. If you catch my drift. Levys' I pray get expert advise showing up soon.

Could be since we all have a "chapter" in the day that we usaully show up here at FR. Like Now.
To: A Citizen Reporter
I've posted lots (and apparently before you were even a member on 2/99) but not in the past year or so, and I usually post only when provoked. One of the recent FR upgrades probably wiped out my earlier postings.
Hmmmmmm?????
To: SuziQ
On the day they identified her body, there were many posts mentioning condolences for her parents. Maybe you just missed them...? Your post prompted me to go back and do a search for all Chandra-related stories when the news of her body's discovery broke last week.
While there might have been a couple of condolence posts, the rest was mostly the same amateur armchair detective stuff that's been going around here for over a year. The rest was just FR poster cross-chat.
In our ideological (and in 2sheep's case, theological) zeal, it's easy to lose sight of the human tragedy involved, which was my original point.

I guess you don't have any children, do you? actually, quite a few. and I teach parenting classes. I am responding to the media information that said that her mother encouraged her affairs with married men. And that she was raised in that liberal no-Boundaries way that is painful to so many children but very easy on adults.

You are just mouthing what demons speak to your head. You are arrogant, proud, boastful and don't know the scriptures nor the power of God. You have twisted everything we wrote into what we did NOT say. Go over to the Calvinists' Club here: Religion where they will pat you on back and tell you that you can continue in sin unabated and God will never cut you off. You are a hearer only, not a doer, and therefore deceiving your OWN self and Unbeliever. Rev. 21:8. Sure... slander Calvinism, but don't respond to the challange of my post. How typical of you....
But of course, you are so blinded from the truth-- that God is Soverign, and we are not-- that you probably think that God actually is pleased that Levy died.

you probably think that God actually is pleased that Levy diedI certainly get the impression that 2sheep and his ilk are rejoicing so (since they walk in perfect step with their god) it would follow that there is rejoicing in their heaven.
I have the misfortune (or should I say curse) of having a son-in-law of this wacked out stripe. It's probably God's punishment on me for my sins.

I am responding to the media information that said that her mother encouraged her affairs with married men.Might you be confused with Monica? Her mother encouraged her affairs and was an adulterer herself. Sometimes when I would see Dr. Lewinsky in interviews, he looked so sad and angry that I was reminded of King David's cries when his son Absalom died. He cried to the Lord to take him and spare Absalom, maybe because he had neglected Absalom in favor of Solomon. But I'm not sure that Dr. Lewinsky ever got a clue that Monica did anything wrong because I think he continued to blame Linda Tripp and the Republicans.
Maybe G-d put the part in the Bible about King David's great regret over Absalom's death as a warning to neglectful fathers, (that their children could be taken at any moment and then it would be too late) many of them live in the same household as their kids but neglect one child in favor of the other, sometimes neglect the child of a present wife (Bathsheba) over the child of a former wife, or are addicted to their jobs, other women, ego, etc. I don't know if Dr. Lewinski fell into the job addiction category, but it probably crossed his mind that Monica was looking for attention that she never got from a father figure, probably due to the divorce.
I didn't get the impression that the Levys were selfish, absentee parents which to me, makes it even more sad. And they were like most parents, they didn't teach that "sin crouches at the door...." Chandra's aunt is the one who gave her advice on how to get a married man to leave his wife, (starch his shirts, etc.,).

You know what I found most distressing about the Doris Day story?: She has a son and is revealing this affair in her autobiography. She says this actor never left a trace of anything in her life, but I'm sure the actor's wife and kids have figured it out after reading her autobiography, and I'm sure it left a trace in their life! Especially the kids: if the father was leading a double life, i.e., he was acting like the perfect father and husband, but was having affairs on the side, those children will be even more scarred for life. It's too bad she didn't feel any shame about it because it was better left out of the story.

I meant to include you in #96.

I was also trying to make the point that Chandra most likely made some grave mistakes and my mother definitely did; whereas you and your son could hardly have foreseen the danger of carbon monoxide poisoning. Not very many people are aware of it, yet I remember when you lost your son, Howlin', and you had a thread warning others about the dangers. I know I took your warning to heart and spread your warning around to relatives. The fact that you could face such a tragedy and still care about other people enough to warn them said a lot about you and may have saved some lives at the same time. I was very humbled when I read of it.
Jesus said, "My people perish for lack of knowledge." In the spiritual realm, it's better to warn and be ridiculed or hated than not to warn.
We may disagree on this (you and me disagreeing? for a change, right? LOL) but I hope you know its nothing personal, (this disagreement and the ones I foresee in the future!). Shalom and God bless you. PD

There is none of us that knows any better of the consequences of sin than those like myself who did not know the Lord until later in life. I was 26 and had plenty of time before that to fail Him. I am so thankful of the things I have escaped. But to this day I know my past has caused my destiny to be different than what the Lord had in store for me. Regardless, just like the natural law, when the Spiritual laws of God are broken terrible circumstances can occur.Blessed is the one who finds that out before it's too late..

Oh, I know it's nothing personal; and perhaps the Levys feel like I do -- I SHOULD have known about carbon monoxide poisoning -- I'm a "grownup," you know? I didn't even have a detector in MY house and I KNEW that they used a generator all the time.
I understand your point though, really. It is different. I guess I just had a knee jerk reaction to those remarks.
