Well, you're talking to someone who believes that schools should be "voluntary associations" whose members can decide whether they want a dress code or not (like a company). Of course, with out government schools, the situation is quite different.

That's fine but you seemed to be implying that one shouldn't comment on the dress codes of other groups, but that same logic didn't apply to members within the groups.

So an atheist, say, shouldn't tell a Christian how to dress, but a Christian could tell another Christian how to dress.

And actually, getting back to the original poster's question, can strippers be "good people." Frankly, I think an atheist opinion on that subject is as valid as any religionist's (well, since I am an atheist, I believe my opinion is MORE valid. :-)

From my Libertarian perspective, a "good person" is anyone who doesn't engage in or advocate the initiation of aggression or fraud against any other person. So I assume there are plenty of strippers, and prostitutes for that matter, who are non-aggressive individuals, and therefore "good people."

Doesn't mean I'd like 'em all. Some people are jerks. They have weird tastes. They are annoying. Etc. But on the scale of "basic goodness" they still make the grade.
