Opinion of Strippers

With all this Fuss about stipper Mom I was wondering what everyones opinion of stippers are?

I know there is the Typical stripper, into drugs ect... but would anyone care to stand up and say that there are girls out there that are good people?

Strippers are just as degenerate as the men who see them dance (I speak from past experience :-)) only smarter, as the guys are usually left with empty wallets by the end of the night.

The issue in the case you are referring to was whether or not being a stripper is consistent with a Christian lifestyle. The answer to that is NO!

The question wasn't does she have Christian values, it was can she be a good person and I believe that the answer is "Yes they can." We don't have to condone what she does but that doesn't make her a bad person. We have to many prudes here that will criticize and demean anyone who doesn't fall in that holier than thou category.

Well, I married an Australian Playboy bunny, who also used to work as a stripper as a sideline ...

She's a stay-at-home mom and has been so since we were married. We just celebrated our 22nd anniversary.

Since she still throws an extremely accurate cricket ball (when I'm outside of her immediate reach) and still wields a wicked cricket bat (when I'm within the aforesaid reach), I am in no position to say that she's anything but a good person.8')

I'm sure that some strippers are good people, just trying to scratch out a living.

But the fact of the matter is, they're doing so by selling themselves like pieces of meat, for the benefit of males (often married) who are not interested in them except as pieces of meat.

It's about as degrading a job as one can take -- where a woman's worth is measured solely by her body parts, and where she becomes worthless when they begin to sag, or she gains weight.

At the very least, the phrase "made a bad choice" comes to mind.

I know strippers that range from the slut drug users to the most upstanding citizens around.

I am also good friends with one of the DJs at Thee Doll House in Raleigh. Doest not drink, does not smoke, is as straight laced as they come.

As with any profession, you are going to have people at both ends of the spectrum.
