Well, the one time I took a girl to see Taxi Driver when it was rereleased in the theatre she enjoyed it.

BTW: The candidate in Taxi Driver, Charles Palantine, sounded a lot like Al Gore. If you compare Palantine's "We Are the People" speech to Gore's "People Versus the Powerful" speech, the similarities are striking.
