Hey Valerie, I understand, I don't like to do that either but.... I can't name one, single (hyphenated) Arab-American aquaintance that I have who feels any sense of loyality to this country.

What do you mean by Arab?
There are large numbers of Lebanese Marionite Christians in South Louisiana and Southeast Texas. Many families have been here over 100 years. I have known a lot of them and all are devoted patriots. They are also Arab. If things get out of control, they will probably get lynched along with the muslims.

If by Arab you mean Muslim Arab, then I agree with you.

:) Yes, you just pointed up the danger of making broad generalizations. I do, indeed, mean Arab Muslims, I don't think I know any Lebanese Marionite Christians. I have a darling, friend, a middle-aged, Iranian, catholic woman who was educated in France and Switzerland before marrying a nice Italian boy and immigrating to the U.S. She is devoted to this country.

Weird news just for you guys and all fans of BBQ

Electrocuted squirrels blamed for Red Mountain range fire
(AP) BENTON CITY -- A wildfire ignited by flaming squirrels that got zapped on a high-voltage line burned 638 acres of brush and grass on Red Mountain, fire officers said.
Some squirrels went up a pole and came in contact with the line Tuesday afternoon, possibly by gnawing through insulation, Benton County Fire District 1 Capt. Ron Fryer said.
The wind-driven flames briefly threatened about 30 homes, but they were protected by buffer areas that were established after a much larger fire on the nearby Hanford nuclear reservation almost two years ago.
