Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Movie Spy Reports and Spoilers thread)
TheOneRing.Net (and other places) ^

Beyond this point there be spoilers!

Like spoilers? – Keep reading!

Don't want spoilers? – Click HERE and don't look back!

Don't say we didn't warn you! Spoilers are what this thread is all about. So bring your rumors (substantiated or not!), spoilers, spy reports, and bones of contention about them here as the snippets of TTT news, photos and interviews come rolling in.

I wouldn't even recommend pinging people to this thread unless you know they want to see them. There are a lot of purists out there that hate to have anything given away before the movie comes out. I, however, am not one of those.

I will start a "TTT spoilers ping list" separate from the other Tolkien ping lists… so let me know if you want to be on the spoiler alert list!" If we use this thread for that kind of stuff, we won't shock people who don't want to see it. (though I bet they look anyway!)

Report 'em if you got 'em!

Cool! - It would go against my prediction if it won THE oscar this year, (I think the only one would be next year) but I can be happy even if I am wrong!

Join the club Harry! - We usually hate YOU for having seen stuff we can't see!

Yes! Now he knows what it feels like!

I am nervously waiting the first review of the movie to hit AICN, I remember we saw our first spy review of FOTR around this time last year, in mid-Nov, and then the first proper movie critic review appeared on the 27th of Nov I think.....

Can't be too long now!

By the way hair, I just noticed this morning that the UK version of the MPAA have viewed The Two Towers and have given it their cert here.
It's interesting that it got a higher cert that Fellowship, so it's going to be more violent.

Hair, I've got a really dumb question- problem.

We just bought new equipment- TV, VCR, DVD, and got a DirectTV satellite connection. Now, we bought the VCR a couple months ago- so had that able to tape programs, even with new TV. Then, we got the satellite dish and the DVD.

Well, here's the stupid question. What Setup should my VCR have to be able to tape- ? and...now the really dumb thing, I can't get the DVD to do anything, can't get the drive to open, get no lights nothing. Any ideas?

Help, I'm dying to see the new FotR!

Oh goodness! - What a horrible predicament! - If the DVD won't do anything, then it has no power, methinks. If you can't figure it out from the diagram that came with the DVD player, I think you need to call a talented friend or 15 year old boy to fix it for you. I had to buy an A/B switch to run my cable box and the DVD, and I have a less complex array of electronics than you do.

Dang, I was hoping you'd have a quick and painless answer.
When my husband called lastnight-(he's out all week), he reminded me that when the installer was here last week, we did see the lights on the DVD pop on, but we don't how or why, and we sure have punched a lot of buttons since then.

Guess I need to call the installer again.
