Beyond this point there be spoilers!

Don't say we didn't warn you! Spoilers are what this thread is all about. So bring your rumors (substantiated or not!), spoilers, spy reports, and bones of contention about them here as the snippets of TTT news, photos and interviews come rolling in.
I wouldn't even recommend pinging people to this thread unless you know they want to see them. There are a lot of purists out there that hate to have anything given away before the movie comes out. I, however, am not one of those.
I will start a "TTT spoilers ping list" separate from the other Tolkien ping lists so let me know if you want to be on the spoiler alert list!" If we use this thread for that kind of stuff, we won't shock people who don't want to see it. (though I bet they look anyway!)
Report 'em if you got 'em!
but I thought it was kinda funny!
I wonder if there are any more hidden goodies?
Hmmmmmm....
Maquiladora posted about 60 of the new images, and I linked all 365 images at post 17. There are many great pics, so don't miss them.

Aldor was the founder of a golden age in Rohan's history. In his time, the Rohirrim increased greatly in numbers, and he succeeded in driving all the Dunlendings from his realm. Aldor had many children, of which the three eldest were daughters. It was his fourth child, Fréa, who succeeded him as King, but due to Aldor's long life, Fréa had to wait until he was himself seventy-five years old before he became Lord of the Mark.
Madril
Not listed at Arda: ditto Eothain
Thought perhaps a flashback, but now wonder if some of these are not invented characters??
Yes, I knew Haldir goes to Helm's Deep...he also dies there, protecting Aragorn. Oppps! But this is the spoiler thread, isn't it? ;-)
The ones that really caught my eye are the ones we've never heard before, isn't there enough guys in LOTR already without introducing more! I wonder where they'll fit in?
Might some of these previous Kings of Rohan, etc. be shown as 'The Dead' who are following Aragorn and company through the 'Paths of the Dead'? They ARE visible because Gimli is terrified of them!
I'm not sure how much of The Paths we'll see in TTT. I do know that we'll see Aragorn & Co entering the Paths very near the end of the movie, but whether we'll see any more than that 'till RotK is in doubt.
I've had the miserable experience of hearing from folks that have seen THE TWO TOWERS - folks that are involved in production and that have had nothing to do with production... and these people just make me sick. They tell me things like: "THE TWO TOWERS - unlike 'Clones'.. it is the equivalent of 'Empire' in cinematic context."
Others say it's the greatest movie of all time. I hate these people. They quantify that in the realm of Epic film production - stuff like SPARTACUS, BEN HUR, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA... that sort of thing. It makes my ears bleed. Because I'm the sort of guy that wants to believe that sort of thing. I've heard that the 'POWER PEOPLE' in Hollywood that have seen all the films that are 'The Films' folks would consider for OSCARS this year, that they feel there are only 3 films that will go all the way in terms of many Oscar Nominations and duking it out for the shiny bald one. CHICAGO, FAR FROM HEAVEN and THE TWO TOWERS.
