Hey folks, this might just interest you!

Thanks Maq - This is great! - Thanks! reading it now!

Cool.... read the whole thing... It is an old article, but had more information about some stuff than I had heard before. Some things I know "the rest of the story" on... Viggo actually bought his horse and one other for one of the young wranglers at the end of filming. The young wrangler cares for both horses for him when he is away. He got into the riding thing very big!

I would love to see yours, as long as we are off-topic! I am going to bed soon, but post a link if you have one! I've been looking for pictures of Aki, and now I remember why I have so few good pictures of him. He's the hardest horse in the world to photograph.
Being very affectionate, he feels that anyone who comes into his field is there to pet him. I back up to get him in the viewfinder, he walks towards me. I keep backing up, he keeps walking forward. I have plenty of pictures of his nose as he sniffs at the camera to see if it's edible. Pictures of the rest of him are hard to come by.
I really need a second person to hold him, and get him into some dignified pose. Dignity is the one think Aki clearly lacks. His personality is more like a Golden Retriever.

TTT Is Finished, And Rated!
From TORN:
Xoanon here, a few people have written to me with the same info, check it out from Nathaniel's email: It appears that The Two Towers is indeed finished, for it has been rated at filmratings.com. The rating is PG-13 and the reasons cited are nearly identical to that of the first film: "rated PG-13 for epic battle sequences and scary images." (The only difference is the omission of the word 'some' before 'scary.')
To: maquiladora
It's true! The MPAA
has seen the finished version of The Two Towers!.
I went to their offical site, did a search for 'lord' in the movie ratings section, and there it is!
Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers, The (2002)
New Line Cinema
Rated PG-13 for epic battle sequences and scary images.
Which is indeed slightly different from FotR!
To: maquiladora
And now we've got the offical running time too!
From Fandango:
2 hr. 43 min.
To: maquiladora
2 hr. 43 min.That's it? I feel cheated. ;^)

A HA! - So its done. good! So we went from 3:15 to 2:43... I smell another TTT Extended Addition with 30 new minutes in my far too distant future....
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh hair, I got your message.
I'll try and find out for you tonight, I think I can recall some things I heard about it, but I'd rather wait and ask the Person first.
;-)

Hey, at least we'll have the DVD to look forward too!

I want a leaf clasp... I have seen a nice one for around $60. And I am considering buying one of the swords. I wish there was a Narsil that had a scabbard... There is a Sting with a scabbard now, so maybe eventually.
To: HairOfTheDog
Oh, you clearly know this site! It's the first time I saw it. I know a few people who'd jump through hoops to fire to get their hands on these beauties.
I think I'll get me one of them swords! Would look great on the wall.
To: maquiladora
They would look cool on the wall, but I think the coolest part of swords is the sound they make when you draw them out of a scabbard. (I would never own anything but a pump shotgun for the same reason!)
I want a Narsil with the scabbard! - Although Glamdring is beautiful...

I noticed quite a bit of discussion about lembas in the Hobbit Hole. I found this screencap from the extended DVD at
ign.com. Check it out:

What a hottie.

Lembas looks a lot like toaster pastries!

Ha! It looks like a flattened sopapilla!!LOL! I guess it is because I grew up near New Orleans, but my first thought was that it looks like a beignet (pronounced 'been-yay') a raised doughnut type thingy fried then dusted with powdered sugar which is like a French sopapilla!
*Suzi's daughter sneaks onto the computer* Suzi's Daughter: It reminded me of something, but then I forgot what. I was to busy oogling at Orli and his nifty-cool pointy ears and pretty hair. Hm...
SQ back...She's a sneak, isn't she?
