I wouldn't even recommend pinging people to this thread unless you know they want to see them. There are a lot of purists out there that hate to have anything given away before the movie comes out. I, however, am not one of those.
I will start a "TTT spoilers ping list" separate from the other Tolkien ping lists… so let me know if you want to be on the spoiler alert list!" If we use this thread for that kind of stuff, we won't shock people who don't want to see it. (though I bet they look anyway!)

I lent my copy of The Two Towers to my moviegoing companion and am hoping to get it back in time to read it a third time before the movie comes out. There is SO much to absorb and retain ...
Dagnabbit, I wanna see how the Ents are portrayed...can't help but think they'll be a fancier version of the Talking Trees in the Wizard of Oz...LOL!!
Also, who's portraying Denethor? And Eowyn? Bet'cha Eowyn's a hottie like Arwen...I'm surprised Galadriel wasn't more attractive.

Ringer Spy Irascian sends along the rest of the 13 page TTT coverage from SFX Magazine.
Calling their feature '101 Reasons Why You MUST See The Two Towers', it features great pics and tons of info for the Tolkien newbie, and some great insight into some of the characters and actors in the film. (Be sure to check out reason number 24...I'll never look at a BIC the same way again! -Xo). You can also see the difference from the subscriber's version of SFX and the newsstand version (Read Media Watch: SFX Magazine from September 14th)

...One of the MPAA committee who watched a print of The Two Towers last week in order to give it a certification (it will be PG-13) says that not only is it better than Fellowship, but is "the best movie I have ever seen."
