I lent my copy of The Two Towers to my moviegoing companion and am hoping to get it back in time to read it a third time before the movie comes out. There is SO much to absorb and retain ...
Dagnabbit, I wanna see how the Ents are portrayed...can't help but think they'll be a fancier version of the Talking Trees in the Wizard of Oz...LOL!!
Also, who's portraying Denethor? And Eowyn? Bet'cha Eowyn's a hottie like Arwen...I'm surprised Galadriel wasn't more attractive.
Thanks fer the bump/pics and FReegards...MUD
Eowyn is played by Miranda Otto, and Australian I think:
And she is a cutie pie!
This is all we have for Treebeard.... did you see the preview in the theater of this? Pippin has just noticed that the tree his is clinging to has eyes, and is slowly turning back around. It is in the download that is available in the post a little ways upthread.
Treebeard FReegards...MUD
Look at the detail!
Here is the rest of the article for everybody else!
Spoiler alert!
From TheOneRing.net. This looks painful to read, because it is a scan from a magazine... but it looks like a cool article (if you have a magnifying glass) The pics are thumbnails...

Ringer Spy Irascian sends along the rest of the 13 page TTT coverage from SFX Magazine.
Calling their feature '101 Reasons Why You MUST See The Two Towers', it features great pics and tons of info for the Tolkien newbie, and some great insight into some of the characters and actors in the film. (Be sure to check out reason number 24...I'll never look at a BIC the same way again! -Xo). You can also see the difference from the subscriber's version of SFX and the newsstand version (Read Media Watch: SFX Magazine from September 14th)
Hehe, yep, I had a feeling you'd like that one!
It was a bit of a strain, but well worth it!
Have you seen this?!
...One of the MPAA committee who watched a print of The Two Towers last week in order to give it a certification (it will be PG-13) says that not only is it better than Fellowship, but is "the best movie I have ever seen."
