Way to go, South Dakota. Although these interesting plans are in a holding pattern at the moment, if Kevin builds it, I will go. I will recommend that all my Florida friends visit too.
Just thought you'd like to know that Costner & South Dakota are in People Mag's Most Beautiful People May Edition!
I was born and raised on the eastern side of SD. Now in Florida, another tourist destination, I collect South Dakota items at antique and thrift stores all the time.
From my family, I scored the original photos of my grandparents' childhood homes and other photos from the turn of the century back when grandpa picked up grandma for a date in a wagon.
One of my great grandmas had an encounter on laundry day with Jesse James and his gang. The James Gang rode up the hill near great grandma at the clothesline. It all happened very fast but family lore has it that The James Gang stole my family's plow horses because they'd worn out their current ones! You gotta love a state with such a RICH HISTORY and a PROMISING FUTURE. You, go, South Dakota!

...my maine coon cat DOES look like a buffalo.My Ragdoll cat is not so big and has no front claws, but she is formidable, as my new Golden Retriever is quickly finding out. I just put her in my lap, and he stays on the other side of the room, leaving me in peace for a little while!

Thanks Floriduh voter..a little family history my great grandfather's obit he went to the Dakotas in 1870s not liking the weather and water he returned to Northern NY
