Actually, no. She was a hunter unequalled, and that is what killed her. She stalked wasps, birds, and anything else that acted like prey. While setting up a TV antenna, a wasp nest was disturbed. We sprayed the wasps and waited. I closed off the room with the window out to where the nest and antenna were, but the cat got into the room anyway. She ate a wasp that had been sprayed. Choleo-intestinase inhibitors, that's what wasp spray is. Neuro toxins and other such. Shut Mimi's kidneys down. That was three years ago. Still wish no-one had opened that door after I said not to.
But the past is the past, and no use crying over it now. But still, I saw that pic and thought I saw a ghost. Maybe when I finally relent and put a pic o' my ugly mug up, someone will think I look like someone else too...

calicos are always female. i had heart that orange tabbies were always male, but in my volunteer work with cats while in san diego, i did meet one yellow/orange female tabby.
