Texans generally use a red sauce for our cooking

Now we have to have a wet or dry war?
I think most Texans cook with only a dry rub on the meat and use sauce, if at all, only at the table. Lots of great BBQ places have no sauce available at all.

Good point on the dry rub fans. If the meat has enough fat content, that is the way to go.
